What we do to protect accounts

01

Account-scoped access

Meetings, transcripts, notes, and AI chat are stored in your account. Other users cannot read them. Access is gated by your Observer sign-in.

02

No raw audio stored

Audio is processed in real time for transcription and is not kept as a recording in your account. The durable record is the transcript, notes, and AI chat.

02 · What we store

Your meeting history lives in your account

Stored in your account

  • Meeting titles, times, and durations
  • Transcripts of what was said
  • Meeting notes and AI chat from that session
  • Account email, billing, and usage
  • Playbooks you save for AI

Not stored

  • Raw meeting audio recordings
  • Your payment card details (Paddle is the merchant of record)

03 · AI processing

Models need readable text to help

Live answers, transcription, and note generation need readable text. When you use those features, Observer sends the needed content to our API and speech/AI providers. Providers process data under contracts that prohibit training on your content. See our Subprocessors page.

04 · Questions

Straight answers

Can Observer staff read my meetings?

Meeting titles, transcripts, notes, and AI chat are stored in our database so the product can show your history and generate notes. Access is limited to running the service, support you request, and legal obligations. We do not sell your meeting content.

Do you store audio recordings?

No. Audio is processed in real time for transcription and is not kept as a recording in your account.

Who processes my meeting text?

Speech-to-text and language models need readable text to transcribe and generate answers or notes. Observer sends that text to the providers listed on our Subprocessors page. Those providers process data under contracts that prohibit training on your content.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual meetings in the app. You can also delete your account from Profile, which removes your Observer account data.
