Undetectability Mode
Keep Observer hidden from screen shares and recordings.
Undetectable keeps Observer on your screen and out of what you share.
Off by default. Turn it on in General settings, or from the session menu during a call. The setting shows Protected when it is on.
What it does
- Hides Observer from screen shares and recordings
- Keeps Observer out of the participant list; it never joins the call
- Hides Observer from the Mac Dock and Windows taskbar while a meeting is running
Supported apps
Works with browser meetings and most desktop apps, including Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack, Webex, and Discord.
Zoom desktop
Zoom needs one extra screen-sharing setting. See Zoom screen sharing setup.
Limits
Observer cannot promise complete undetectability everywhere. Some apps that inspect running processes may still see it.
