Getting Started
Install Observer on Mac
Download, install, and sign in. Takes a couple of minutes.
You need macOS 11 or later and an Observer account.
Download and install
1. Open the Download page on getobserver.app.
2. Download the Observer .dmg.
3. Open it and drag Observer into Applications.
4. Launch Observer and sign in.
Permissions
On first launch, grant Microphone and Screen Recording. Observer cannot transcribe or read your screen without them.
Every account includes a one-time 30-minute Free Trial, no credit card required.
If macOS blocks the app, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and allow Observer under Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording.
